When you book a wedding at Green Valley Farm, the rental is for the entire weekend so there is no rush in preparing for your event. Take your time ensuring all of the details are just right, relax with your family and friends, rehearse your ceremony on site, and awake well-rested Saturday morning for a day to remember.

48-Hour Rental | Access to the Farm will commence at 12:00 PM, the day before the Event and will end at 12:00 PM , the day after the event (“Access Period”).

Catering - BYO
Want to bring in your favorite food truck for a fun and unique culinary experience or a five-star catering company serving up a four-course dinner? The menu choices and budget are completely up to you.
Caterers are permitted to cook and/or grill on-site using their own equipment with the exact location to be worked out with us. The catering company is responsible for their own set-up, breakdown, cleanup, and trash removal of the catered site. Cleanup must be completed on the evening of your event.
Alcohol - BYO
Bring your own alcohol. This is a big money saver for couples since the average markup for alcohol is 30% at restaurants/venues. You must obtain an ABC License when bringing in your own alcohol, which can be done the month of your event.

Special Event Insurance
Renter shall obtain general liability insurance covering the day of the event in the minimum amount of one million dollars. This is available through www.wedsafe.com or renter’s insurance broker or agent. This generally costs no more than $170 to obtain.
ABC license
When bringing in your own alcohol, which can be done the month of your event.

Payment:
Reservation
The total cost for use of The Venue and its facilities described above plus Virginia sales tax (6.3%). To reserve services on the date requested, GVF requires a signed contract by both parties and an initial nonrefundable deposit of $500. A second payment of fifty percent (50%) of the balance is due six months prior to the event date. Payment of the remaining balance is due one month prior to the event. Deposits and payments will be made online or personal check (made payable to Green Valley Farm).
Security Deposit
A $500 security/damage deposit must be paid thirty (30) days prior to the event. The deposit will be refunded within 10-days of your event if the property is vacated without damages and provided our cleanup guidelines are followed. If any damages have offered you will be notified and we will bill you for any repairs over and above the deposit.
